Regaining Dignity by Diana Letts
At 95 years old, Diana Letts began public speaking to inspire and empower fellow hearing aid users and their families. With the support of Casey Hearing’s audiology services, she embraced modern hearing technology in her 90s, enabling her to live independently while staying connected with her family and friends.
Diana’s journey with hearing loss and her experience with Casey Hearing have allowed her to overcome the challenges of not hearing well, maintaining strong connections with her loved ones and living a full, active life. She shared her inspiring story at Casey Hearing’s “Regaining Dignity” event in Emerald, where her presentation was well received. She entertained and educated and the attendees requested another similar event. She wanted her speech shared so attendees received a printed copy and for those who couldn’t be there, you can read her speech by clicking the link provided.
As a model of “Ageing Gracefully,” Diana will return as a guest speaker at our upcoming event in Officer, sharing her tips on hearing aid usage and how audiology services can help maintain independence and connection.
